Monique is a passionate and bubbly property home stager with a background as diverse as policing and real estate sales.
Monique’s first staging job was for a property in Mount Sheridan. This house had been on the market for 12 months with one dismal low offer. After completely refreshing the furniture and décor and relaunching the house with new photography the property sold within 7 days, cash unconditional, at a price $35,000 more than the original offer.
Since then, Monique’s journey of home staging has been one of passion. As a real estate agent Monique found a need to advise and go the extra mile with her clients when it came to be presenting their property for sale, whether it be the landscaping, paint colour choices and of course the all-important staging and presentation.
Always ready to roll her sleeves up and get the job done with dedication and focus she started to purchase on trend home furnishings and furniture that she would store in her own garage. She would then install these into her client’s homes for the sales journey.
The results from dressing and styling the homes for sale were amazing. She soon found herself listing properties that had been previously vacant on the market for many months and once these were staged they sold in the first weekend. These properties started to break Street and Apartment price records with many even selling above their advertised price.
Monique’s results were noticed by others in the industry and it wasn’t long before she was being asked to help real estate agents with their own sellers. She has been thrilled to help so many people achieve success. Monique continued to grow her business throughout the years and it now sits proudly at 182 Scott Street, Bungalow bursting with over 500m2 of on trend furniture and furnishings.
Here you will find Monique packing, sorting, cleaning, arranging, buying, and directing uplifts and deliveries at all hours of the day or morning, usually with a coffee in hand.
Monique is thrilled to have been a local real estate agent’s own personal choice of property stager when it came to sell his own investment property. This property achieved a selling price of $50,000 above the advertised asking price on the first weekend.
